Mission and Philosophy

The Chinese have a saying when looking for products which translates as "good taste, good price, good product"

Our Mission, like the Chinese saying, is to source and supply excellent quality, superb value wines.

In general terms the cost to make good quality wines does not vary significantly. The variation in the retail price of similar wines is often the result of good marketing. Not all wineries have the resources of  multinationals to spend on marketing and as a result are unable to achieve prices, for similar quality wines ,achieved by the upmarket and expensive advertising of the multinationals.

Some of our group know from visiting the famous Henschke winery in the Barossa, that you could buy the now famous Hill of Grace for $3.80 in the early nineteen seventies. From clever marketing it and Penfold's Grange are now expensive wine icons.
